Applying for Housing
To apply for Long Term Housing please download and complete the attached application and make an appointment with your Long Term Housing Tenancy Administrator at your nearest Rural Housing Network office.
Assisting With Your Tenancy
Rural Housing Network can assist you with:
- Tenancy sign-up
- Rental payments
- Property maintenance and repairs
- Furnishing the property (Long Term Housing properties)
- Ways in which you can sustain your housing
- A rental reference at the end of the tenancy if applying for private rental
- Gaining access to services and facilities within the community
Tenancy Administration Workers are available from each office location to assist with these queries.
Maintenance and Repairs
For general non-urgent and urgent maintenance tenants are requested to contact their nearest Rural Housing Network office between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm.
For urgent maintenance requests outside of our operating hours please contact 0409 513 634.
For tenants of group housing please contact the Maintenance Call Centre on 131172.
Urgent and essential maintenance includes:
- Burst water pipe
- Blocked or broken toilet
- Gas leak
- Electrical fault (considered dangerous)
- Flooding
- Serious storm damage
- Failure of gas, electricity, water supply
- Faults rendering premises unsafe or insecure
- Broken windows
