The Transitional Housing Program provides secure furnished short-term housing for people experiencing homelessness. While in this housing you will be working towards a long term housing outcome, whether it be in private rental or public housing.
Rural Housing Network Limited will match the needs of people with the most appropriate available housing.
The program informs you of your rights and responsibilities to enable you to sustain a long term tenancy.
How can the Transitional Housing Tenancy Administrator assist you?
The Tenancy Administrators role is to manage transitional housing tenancies. The Tenancy Administrator can assist with:
- Tenancy sign-up
- Rental payments
- Property maintenance and repairs
- Furnishing the property
- Ways in which you can sustain your housing
- A rental reference at the end of the tenancy if applying for private rental
