Housing Support Services
Housing support programs aim to house people and keep them housed in social housing.  This includes both public and community housing.  Rural Housing Network delivers housing support through two key program areas: Social Housing Advocacy and Support; Indigenous Tenants at Risk.

Homelessness Services
An Initial Assessment and Planning worker works with people who are homeless or at risk to resolve their housing issue, to link to support and to assist in finding and sustaining long term housing.

Transitional Housing provides secure, furnished short-term housing for people experiencing homelessness.
Working in conjunction with Family Violence Services, Rural Housing Network provides:  Assistance with emergency accommodation for women and children who face homelessness due to an immediate risk of family violence.

Community Housing
Under the banner of The Housing Network, Rural Housing Network provides community housing – affordable rental housing with a difference.

Community housing is different to public housing and private rental.  It offers a secure and affordable housing option for people on low to moderate incomes, and is managed by a community organisation.  In this case the housing offered is either owned or managed by The Housing Network.

With up-to-date, well maintained properties located throughout the Hume region of Victoria, we aim to house people in the community of their choice.  The Housing Network is committed to increasing the supply of affordable housing and works with many other community organisations to encourage sustainable, long-term tenancies.
